I am so OD (overdoing) but I don’t even care. So excited for the Circus

Britney Spears has arrived in New Orleans in preparation for her Circus tour kick-off tomorrow! Here is a picture of her with the little munchkins (I love seeing pictures with Britney and her kids…it’s just makes my heart melt). I am flying down tomorrow morning for the show, gonna spend the day in New Orleans, and as for the night…well you know where I’ll be! So excited people! So excited. If I am able to put my thoughts into words, I’ll make a post later today about the start of my 3 dates with Britney (New Orleans, Atlanta, and New York). Who am I kidding, you’ll DEFINITELY get a post from me.

In case you love Jennifer Hudson and Robin Thicke (which I do), you should know that they are coming to Atlanta (Hi Georgia friends) and beyond, together. The Atlanta show is on Thursday April 16 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre and tickets go on sale this Friday March 6th. Remember that MTV special on Britney Spears that aired a few days before the release of Circus in November? Well now you can own the DVD of it on April 7th. It includes unseen footage and 6 remixes of “Circus” and “Womanizer.” The special was definitely something that any Britney fan would appreciate (Hi). I thought it definitely showed a side of Britney that you don’t really get to see. And Britney was actually really funny too. I’d probably buy it. I don’t think any of my friends would even think about buying it. Oh well.

Hey there upper east siders (sorry, I have just always wanted to do that). It looks like No Doubt is going to be performing on the season finale of Gossip Girl on May 11. They are supposedly singing a song called “Stand and Deliver,” originally by a group called Adam and the Ants. And since I was born in the late 80’s, I have no idea what this is. Regardless, I am looking forward to their appearance…Hopefully it won’t be a cheesefest…Wouldn’t a scandal between[the love of my life] Blair Waldorf and Gwen Stefani be amazing? No? Alright then.

As for No Doubt, they are going to go on a summer tour (after 5 years). The tour starts kicks off May  and will end on July 31. I’m definitely going to get in on that action. Tickets go on sale on March 7.

I am desperately waiting for the release of Britney’s latest music video for If You Seek Amy (her third single off of Circus). There are so many leaked pictures and teaser videos, it’s driving me absolutely insane. Something tells me the video is going to be released sometime next week (when Britney officially kicks off her first tour in like 5 years). It’s definitely a smart move to make people anticipate the video AND the tour together. I wish I lived in a world with other crazy Britney fans (crazy fans, not the stalkers…there’s a huge difference) because I feel like no one shares in my level of excitement. Britney Spears is influence. Oh by the way, here’s the single cover for the single. She looks so pretty. Loves it. Loves her. The video is going to be awesome.

I know you think I’m absolutely ridiculous, but that’s really okay, I don’t mind. This picture is just pieces of all of Britney’s videos throughout her career… What better way to get excited for this tour? I’m obsessed. Yess I am.

I don’t know why I am even writing this because there are no words to describe how excited I am to see Britney Spears (and The Pussycat Dolls) in concert next Thursday. I bought my Toxic VIP tickets on December 2 and have been waiting for this day to come ever since. I can’t believe it’s almost here! As for what “toxic” vip means, it’s basically just some useless perks as well as better seating. I think my sister Zeba and I are going to go again with even better seats when I’m back in NY for spring break (week after next week). I’m still considering going to the opening show on Tuesday night in New Orleans. I’m sorry if you don’t understand my fascination, but I love love love Britney Spears and I AM SO EFFING EXCITED! Buy tickets, check. Memorize all the words, check. Act a fool…I’ll check that one off next Thursday. You should 100% absolutely expect to hear more about Britney before next Thursday. Also, I’m going to post my review and pictures (I actually take good pictures…sometimes) after the show. AHHHH! Britney <3 <3 <3

First thing’s first. If you haven’t listened to Taylor Swift’s “Fearless” album, you need to do that immediately. The songs are just amazing (I specifically recommend: White Horse, Breathe, Fearless, You Belong With Me, You’re Not Sorry, Love Story, The Best Day, okay maybe you should just listen to all of it). In other news, Taylor Swift is officially #1 for the 10th non-consecutive week on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart. She is also going to be featured on the March issue of Rolling Stone (see right). She’s also currently touring on her “Fearless” tour. This girl’s doing everything!

Here are a few interesting excerpts from that Rolling Stone interview:

Talking about being rebellion: When you lose someone’s trust, it’s lost, and there are a lot of people out there who are counting on me right now. Rebellion is what you make of it. When you’ve been on a tour bus for two months straight, and then you get in your car and drive wherever you want, that can feel rebellious.

Talking about sex: I feel like whatever you say about whether you do or don’t, it makes people picture you naked. And as much as possible, I’m going to avoid that. It’s self-preservation, really.

Every day I find out a little more information about Britney Spears‘ Circus tour (kicks off next week !!!!!!!!!! I’m going to the Atlanta show on 3/5, but am deciding if I should just go to the New Orleans kick-off as well..we’ll see). Anyway, apparently Britney Spears is going to be doing a hell of a lot of high-tech magic tricks such as cutting, transportation, a vansish, splitting boxes, and more… Britney Spears doing magic tricks? HELL YEAH I’M EXCITED.

Here’s what Illusionist Ed Alonzo has to say (he’s been working with her on the tour): Right away, she got into the boxes and into the magic contraptions to learn the stuff, and she’s so excited about this tour and all the elements that are in it. We’re going to be doing the classics of magic but a little high-tech. We’ll be doing a little dissection, transposition, a vanish, an appearance—and if I do a trick she doesn’t just hold the props, she’s actually getting inside the big boxes or I am slicing her up. Some of it’s pretty scary but she gets right in there with no reservations.
