I just watched Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion with a skeptical friend (she gave it 15 minutes and we ended up watching the whole thing..yes!) Just to clarify, I’ve probably seen this movie at least 8 times. But yeah, it’s just such a great movie about being yourself. I’m really milking that whole idea aren’t I? Oh well. I love it. It was also really funny…a laugh per minute kind of movie for sure. You know, you can judge the movie from its cover, but you should give it a chance. I made my guy friends from high school watch it (and I mean I forced them to) and they laughed a lot and seemed to enjoy it. Anyway, here’s my favorite quote from the movie. Yes, a quote.

“Can I tell you the truth? I never knew that we weren’t that great in high school. I mean, we always had so much fun together. I thought high school was a blast. And until you told me that our lives weren’t good enough, I thought everything since high school was a blast. I think we should go back out there as ourselves…And just have fun like we always do.
