What a great episode of Desperate Housewives.
Monday, April 27th, 2009
You know how Desperate Housewives is the type of show that unfolds all throughout the season? And then there’s usually that one or two episodes that pieces everything together? Well, tonight’s episode was the one…and then a sudden twist! Desperate Housewives was just great tonight. I love that we finally know what happened between Susan and Mike all those years ago. And the connection to Dave? When you’re not able to put two and two together right away, sometimes that just great TV (and sometimes it’s not). I’m also totally ready for Bree to free herself of Orson. You can only make a fool of someone for so long. Ahhh greatness.
The questions for next time: Is it the end for Bree and Orson? Gabby and Tom’s new friendship. Mike and Catherine’s future (and is Dave no longer out to kill Catherine?) What’s going to happen to Dave? And more importantly, what the hell is going to happen to Susan and her precious son MJ? And just so we’re clear, Susan was responsible for the accident! Like I said, this was a great episode.
Desperate Housewives returns tonight! Finally!
Sunday, April 19th, 2009Desperate Housewives and Gossip Girl return within one week!
Monday, April 13th, 2009Two of my favorite shows return to television within the next week (after many many weeks of hiatus) and I am soooo excited. Desperate Housewives returns this Sunday, April 19 and Gossip Girl returns Monday, April 20. Does everyone remember the cliff-hanger on Desperate Housewives? Does Edie die?! As for GG, I just really miss Blair. Be excited
Edie on Desperate Housewives. Did you say April 19?!
Monday, March 23rd, 2009If you’re not caught up on DH, don’t read the following. Spoilers ahead.
Can I just say that some of Desperate Housewives‘ very best moments have involved Edie Brit? Remember in a previous season when she was thought to be dead after hanging herself? And tonight? Tonight was just very well executed. Unfortunately we don’t know whether or not Edie actually died. I honestly thought it was over when David started choking her. Only to find out that she ended up crashing her car. That moment with the stepping out and the water and the electricity… The shock, the moment, all of it was just really great. So if Edie does die… will they spare Catherine? I hope for the best.
And let me just get something straight… Desperate Housewives doesn’t return until April 19?! So messed up. But what’re you going to do.
Desperate Housewives. Tonight.
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009You do not want to miss tonight’s all-new Desperate Housewives. Who is going to die? Although the choice seems obvious, you never really know what this show has up its sleeves. See you on the other side (after the show’s over, not like dead or something).

Desperate Housewives…Who’s going to die?
Monday, March 16th, 2009I am about to talk about tonight’s Desperate Housewives. Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned!
Tonight’s episode was great in my opinion. It was funny, cute, real, and of course spooky (you know, a little scary). They have been dragging out David’s agenda for quite some time now. It looks like the next episode is going to be the tell-all-be-all. What really got me going were the previews for next week! A housewife is going to die? So who? Either Catherine because David wants to kill her or Edie because she’s definitely leaving the show (no?). Honestly, I don‘t want either of them to go. They’ve grown on me. I think I’ll be even more pissed if Catherine dies. Really pissed. Why does someone have to die on like every season of this show? (lol). Waiting till next Sunday…or whenever I end up watching.
Desperate Housewives is new tonight!

My name is Mary Alice Young. When you read this morning’s paper, you may come across an article about the unusual day I had last week. Normally, there’s never anything newsworthy about my life. That all changed last Thursday. Of course everything seemed as normal at first. I made my breakfast for my family. Here we are. Waffles. I performed my chores. I completed my projects. I ran my errands. In truth, I spent the day as I spend every other day - quietly polishing the routine of my life until it gleamed with perfection. That’s why it was so astonishing when I decided to go to my hallway closet to retrieve a revolver that had never been used.

Trust is a fragile thing. Once earned, it affords us tremendous freedom. But once trust is lost, it can be impossible to recover. Of course the truth is, we never know who we can trust. Those we’re closest to can betray us, and total strangers can come to our rescue. In the end, most people decide to trust only themselves. It really is the simplest way to keep from getting burned.
