Okay so I have to explain just how all this news unfolded. Okay so I have to admit…I’ve seen the show 3 times already…Would it be so bad to check it out one more time? Especially since there are going to be changes? I know what you’re thinking…I promise I’m not crazy (I just love concerts where I know all the words…lol). I was at the New Orleans, Atlanta, and NY shows with a range of seats from Toxic VIP to VIP standing. We’ll see about that 4th show… :)
Also, you can check out My Circus Journey…just a little section with all my concert reviews/vip reviews/excitement/pictures/etc.
Last night was my third stop on Britney’s circus tour (home in NY) and I’m thinking this show just gets better and better every time you see it. Britney’s smiling a lot more. I don’t know whether it’s me just paying attention to detail or if the later shows of a concert are better than the first, but something is just better. Oh and apparently Madonna was in the audience last night which caused people to lose their shit. This random girl and I made a $5 bet about Madonna taking the stage (I said Madonna wouldn’t and the girl said she would). Madonna did not take the stage. Where’s my money? Whatever, it’s still not enough for a bottle of water. Crazy.
As for pictures, I decided not to bring a camera. It was my sister’s 23rd birthday and I just wanted to make sure she was having the best time ever. We definitely got the Pussycat Dolls and Britney’s attention (if you screamed and looked as crazy as we did, you would too). I’m pretty confident this was the best concert she’s ever been to. She loved it. Happy B-day Z. Like a circuss. Mission accomplished.
I had “Toxic VIP” tickets to Britney’s show in Atlanta on Thursday and I know a lot of people are wondering what exactly it is. I’ll tell you that now! The toxic VIP package includes an exclusive messenger bag and commemorative ticket stock (fancy ticket) as well as a pre-show party, backstage tour, and a parking ticket. You also get some silly accessories like buttons and a key chain. The biggest perk of the Toxic VIP is the excellent floor standing seats (right in front of one of the side stages). These tickets are in front of the general admission section of the floor and right behind the ringside seats on the floor. The pre-show party was just a room where you hung out and ate some appetizers (it was a little tacky)…there are also some people who open the show who hang around here (super friendly people who just want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your experience). The highlight was definitely the backstage tour where we got to see wardrobe, hair & makeup, and even got to see some of the dancers for the show. We also got to see the crew setting up the stage for a bit (and got to preview our seats). Toxic VIP promises great seats (especially when Britney comes to the stage you are near). If you have Toxic VIP, you are bound to have an excellent time. I know I did! I hope this was helpful to everyone else who has also purchased Toxic VIP experience packages.
Remember to check the email that you bought your tickets with for the details on your VIP package. All the info I needed about the merchandise, parking, where to meet, etc were all in the emails. Have an amazing show (I know you will)!
One of you asked me for more details regarding the VIP stool seats at the Britney Spears concerts and here it is. These are a limited number of seats that are more so at the front and back of the stage (as opposed to ringside seats which circle all around the three stages). They are excellent seats and I could even go as far to argue that they have an advantage over ringside seats. Why? Because with the ringside seats, the video screen is directly in front of you and you’re only able to see one [blinding] section of the video. I think the VIP stool seats are the perfect closeness/distance from the stage. As for standing, the security had no problem with ringside people standing and moving closer to the stage. I am almost positive that people with VIP stool seats were also allowed to stand. Basically these are amazing seats and anyone with any kind of VIP-anything is in for an amazing time with Britney and The Pussycat Dolls! I hope this was helpful!
In the picture above, VIP stool seats are located right behind the gold chairs (ringside seats).
Last night was the Atlanta show of Britney Spears’ Circus tour and I have to say, it was better than Tuesday at New Orleans! Why was it better? I think Britney got the confidence boost she needed from Tuesday’s show. I also thought the Atlanta fans were a lot more engaged! People were singing along more and just screaming more in general! My favorite part was when the crowd was screaming so loud that it put such a big smile on Britney’s face. The crowd just would not stop screaming at one point and Britney had to be like “Okay okay stop!” with a big smile (in a very good way, not a bitchy way like it sounds). The show was incredible and I’ve made even the biggest of Britney un-believers believe because of last night. Incredible. I am so sad that I only have one show left.
As for Toxic VIP: The seats were standing right in front of one of the smaller stages. I’d say Britney spends an equal amount of time on both smaller stages, and most time on the big round stage. I loved the backstage tour.
I just got back to my hotel room and I don’t even know where to begin. Basically I thought Britney killed it. This show was amazing. But you know what, it wasn’t just Britney who made the show what it was. It was the dancers. It was all the special effects and tricks (and man, were there a lot of them). But back to Britney. I was so happy with all the songs she chose to perform (and it was not limited to the set list released by BritneySpears.com). The costumes were effing fantastic. And she looked so beautiful. I am proud of Britney Spears. After having the world witness some personal mishaps, she was able to put on a show like this. I think she forgot what it felt like to perform in front of thousands of people and something tells me the next few shows will be even better.
I am trying to think what others might have thought of the show. I feel like people are definitely going to say that she doesn’t dance as much as she used to, but I was happy with it. I am really excited to go to the next 2 shows and see it all over again. A part of me still can’t believe I flew to New Orleans for Britney, but I am so glad I did. I felt like a part of history.
I do have to say this though: I think with any concert, the crowd definitely sets the tone. I’ve never really been to concerts outside of New York/New Jersey (I’m from NY) and I must say I thought the crowd could have been more excited. Don’t get me wrong, they were screaming a lot, but not enough. I love the crowds that just go crazy over absolutely everything (like they do in NY). It gives you goose bumps. I’m excited to see the difference in the Atlanta and NY shows.
As for my seat…Fucking amazing. I was so close to the stage that whenever the curtain or video screen went down, it would hit my head. Amazing. Not to mention, my seat was a couch. I had a golden cup holder for crying out loud.
I was able to take a few good shots (in my opinion lol) and am going to post those now! I’ll post a more detailed step-by-step review after the pictures

It’s 6:37 NOLA time and I’m about to walk on over to New Orleans Arena (my hotel is like .3 miles away). I don’t know what to say right now… I’ve run out of words. I know I’ll have a LOT to say after though. See you then
Hey everyone! There won’t be many posts from me today as I’m flying from ATL to New Orleans today for the Britney concert. If you’re just stumbling across my blog (hey, thanks for coming), I’m going to Britney’s opening night concert in New Orleans today and I have very promising seats (center ring, front row)! I’ll have something to share after, if I don’t get my camera taken away that is… Today will be an experience of a lifetime. Thanks mom and dad (like in the Kelly shoes video…hahaha).
I must confess

Britney Spears - …Baby One More Time
(Do you remember the first time you heard Baby One More Time? I do. I was passing a Burger King and it was playing on NY’s Z100. I remember I was with my mom in the car and I was like, “Mom, I gotta take this.”)
There’s an even longer tour preview that went up at 7pm tonight at Candies.com (Britney’s the new Candies girl FYI)! Go there by clicking here! If you’re lazy it’s just a little better than the one in my previous post! Oh and one more thing…
Here is the set list for Britney’s show! BritneySpears.com released it themselves! AHHHHH!!! I’m mad at myself for looking but I am soooooooo glad I did because now I’m 10x more excited than before (if that’s possible).
Britney Spears has arrived in New Orleans in preparation for her Circus tour kick-off tomorrow! Here is a picture of her with the little munchkins (I love seeing pictures with Britney and her kids…it’s just makes my heart melt). I am flying down tomorrow morning for the show, gonna spend the day in New Orleans, and as for the night…well you know where I’ll be! So excited people! So excited. If I am able to put my thoughts into words, I’ll make a post later today about the start of my 3 dates with Britney (New Orleans, Atlanta, and New York). Who am I kidding, you’ll DEFINITELY get a post from me.
